• Slovakia has the highest number of players (7) who participated in all of the editions since their team joined the WTCOC

• Spain used the highest number of different players over all the editions (31), closely followed by Hong Kong (who only participated in 4 editions) (30)
• For the lowest number of used players, we rule out the teams that only participated in 1 edition.

• From the 342 subscribed players, 198 also participated in the 2023 edition.
• 115 players are making their WTCOC debut.
• Marka (Fra) is returning to the WTCOC after the longest absence so far (2020 -> 2024)
• 8 teams created a solid base and have 8 returning players from 2023
  • Belgium, Czech Rep., Germany, Mexico, Romania, Ukraine, UK & USA
• European Champion Poland has the highest team make-over and has only 2 players that return from the 2023 edition and having 8 new players or ones returning from past editions. Compared to 2023, Hong Kong brings 7 new players to their team, Argentina 6.
• Muzhachello played with 3 teams so far (Russia, the Lithuania/Latvia cooperation and the Lithuanian team)
• 8 Carcassonne individual World Champions are participating this year, good for a total of 11 World Titles

• This year Taichi-Pan will be entering the WTCOC as this year’s mascot, celebrating last year’s Champion Team: China. The name was chosen by the Chinese team and combines the words Taichi, which refers to an ancient sport of the country, and Pan (Panda)! Taichi-pan will appear in all kinds of media during the competition and will cheer for every team.

• Did you know that Alexey did 2 days 6 hours 53 minutes and 12 sec. of WTCOC 2023-related streaming on his YouTube channel last year? That good for almost 55 hours or 3293,2 minutes of juicy content and pure enthusiasm you can rewatch! How many times diid his curtain drop…? We’re counting on you to provide us that information. Yes You Can!
