With the arrival of March more teams have been finding their final line-ups and we are happy to announce three new entries for WTCOC 2021.

First of all we welcome the newly formed Belgian team, which will be making their debut. Despite being a relatively small country, it has been sending good players to the Carcassonne World Championships in Essen for years, it was only a matter of time before we had them with us.

Closely nearby geographically as well as chronologically in terms of the registration we have Holland, one of the few countries with a world champion (Els Bulten / 2011). The Dutch are joining in the WTCOC again after finishing in 10th place last year and having reached a commendable 6th place in the Euro Team Carcassonne Championship.

Lastly we are happy to announce Ukraine’s registration, their team maintains much of its bulk from last year with Zaharik, Samuelsson, Lawyer, Fannalex, Jubjic and Nuity. The two new faces are: Adrear and Bazilyuk. Will they be able to surpass the 9th place achieved in 2020?

With these three new additions, 6 teams have already registered for the WTCOC 2021

Amb l’arribada del mes de març els equips s’estan començant a definir i ja tenim nous inscrits per la nova edició del WTCOC

En primer lloc donem la benvinguda a l’equip de Bèlgica, que debutarà aquest any a la competició mundial per equips. Tot i ser un país relativament petit, ja fa anys que presenta bons jugadors a l’edició individual del mundial que se celebra a Essen, era només qüestió de temps tenir-los amb nosaltres.

Molt a prop de Bèlgica tenim a Holanda, un dels pocs països que té una campiona del món (Els bulten /2011). Els holandesos repeteixen al WTCOC després de quedar en 10è lloc l’any passat i havent aconseguit un meritori 6è lloc a l’Euro Team Carcassonne Championship.

En darrer lloc parlem d’Ucraïna, que manté bona part del seu bloc amb Zaharik, Samuelsson, Lawyer, Fanalex, Jubjic i Nuity. Les dues noves cares són: Adrear i Bazilyuk. Seran capaços de superar el 9è lloc assolit l’any passat?
