The last days of competition at the WTCOC have had an exceptional guest: time.
It appears that the players, moved by the nerves and the passion of the championship, have had issues with the regulatory settings by which they have to open the games, a fact that has not gone unnoticed by the DAZ in its last update.
We understand that these things can happen, but they cannot be the norm in an official championship that, apart from fun and passion for a game, also adheres to a strict set of rules.
This week our official illustrator, Jess Perpat, wanted to immortalize two moments related to the time factor in games.
The first of them is a great show of sportsmanship starring the captain of the USA team, mingo. As Jess tells us: “Last Saturday in the third game of the duel between Mingo from USA and Complixvandh from Mexico, Mingo was betrayed by the clock and it made me very sad that she lost in this way since she is a great friend and player. She was like a cold water balloon! However, I’m very happy that she followed the rules and conceded the game. “
Jess’s second drawing is inspired by “the first game between humske from Netherland vs IoanaFelicia from Romania, it was opened in training mode, this is“ no time limit. ”Can you imagine living in a carcassonne loop? who noticed and started the game again.”

Los últimos días de competición en el WTCOC han tenido un invitado de excepción: el tiempo.
Esta semana parece que los jugadores, movidos por los nervios y la pasión del campeonato han tenido ciertos despistes con los parámetros reglamentarios con los que han de abrir las partidas, hecho que no ha pasado desapercibido por el DAZ en su último escrito.
Entendemos que estas cosas pueden ocurrir, pero no pueden ser la norma en un campeonato oficial que aparte del divertimento y la pasión por un juego también se ciñe a un reglamento. Esta semana nuestra ilustradora oficial, Jess Perpat, ha querido inmortalizar dos momentos relacionados con el factor tiempo en las partidas.
El primero de ellos es una gran muestra de deportividad protagonizada por la capitana del equipo de USA, mingo. Tal como nos cuenta Jess: “El sábado pasado en el tercer juego del duelo entre mingo de USA y complixvandh de México, mingo fue traicionada por el reloj y me puso muy triste que perdiera de esta manera, ya que es una gran amiga y jugadora. ¡Fue como un globo de agua fría! Sin embargo, me alegra mucho que haya seguido el reglamento y concediera la partida.”
El segundo dibujo de Jess viene inspirado por “el primer juego entre humske de Holanda y IoanaFelicia de Rumania, se abrió en modo entrenamiento, sin límite de tiempo. ¿Se imaginan vivir en un bucle de carcassonne?, lo bueno es que se dieron cuenta y volvieron a iniciar el juego. “
