Yesterday, Thursday (May 27), the first two matches of the WTCOC eliminatory phase were played. Both ended in the tightest possible way, 3-2 with Catalonia beating Germany and the Czech Republic beating Italy.
The Catalan team had to work until the last of the games to get a victory with a taste of revenge, since after two previous losses against Germany it is the first time Catalonia was able to win. As a curious fact, note that the duels won by each team had the same result. Those of the Catalans by 2-1 and those of the Germans by 2-0.
For its part, the Czech Republic also had to wait until the end of the duels to secure its victory. Two of the Czech victories were very comfortable, by 2-0, the remaining one was tighter, 2-1. On the other hand Italy took two duels by 2-1. As a curious fact, giulioTm took his duel winning two of the games by tie, having been the second to play in both games.

Ahir dijous (27 de maig) es van jugar els dos primers partits de la fase eliminatòria del WTCOC, tots dos resolts de la manera més ajustada possible, 3-2 a favor de Catalunya i la República Txeca.
L’equip català va haver de treballar fins a l’última de les partides per aconseguir una victòria amb gust de venjança. Després de dos enfrontaments previs contra Alemanya, és la primera vegada que aconsegueixen guanyar. Com a dada curiosa, destacar que els duels guanyats per cada equip van tenir el mateix resultat. Els dels catalans per 2-1 i els dels alemanys per 2-0.
Per la seva banda, la República Txeca també va haver d’esperar al final dels duels per aconseguir corroborar el seu triomf. Dues de les victòries txeques van ser molt còmodes, 2-0, i l’altra més ajustada, 2-1. D’altra banda, Itàlia va guanyar els seus dos duels per 2-1; com a fet curiós, GiulioTm va guanyar el seu duel aconseguint dos triomfs per empat, ja que va ser el segon a jugar a les dues partides.
