In light of the devastating events occurring in Ukraine, the groups organizing the WTCOC (Carcassonne.cat, Carcassonne Brazil, Carcassonne México, Carcassonne USA, Carcassonne Romania, and Carcassonne Central) have decided to postpone the start of the WTCOC 2022 tournament and registration.
A final decision regarding whether or not to hold this year’s tournament will be made and announced by April 10th, and will take into account the evolution of the conflict and conversations with the players who are directly affected by them.
We are aware that many players in our community are directly and indirectly affected by this conflict and we empathize with them. We want to encourage interaction and connection within our community, but not with a championship title at stake during these difficult days.
