The moment of truth arrives at the WTCOC: Final and third and fourth place in play

Eng

After some exciting semifinal crossings, the moment of truth arrives. It’s time to find out which team will be the world champion.

Last week’s semi-finals were decided in favor of Japan, who won 4-1 against Romania, and Russia, who beat Germany by a narrow margin. In this way the two teams that were in first place in Group A have been the ones that have come farthest within the competition. Recall that in the previous match the victory was for Russia, although Japan was in first place in the group.

Thus, tomorrow Tuesday from 20:30 (UTC + 2) the match for the third and fourth place between Romania and Germany will be played. This match will be special, as both teams have asked the organization for the possibility of a match with as many players as possible in each team. In this way, and being the first edition of this championship, the organization has found it interesting to accept this proposal to encourage the maximum participation of players from each team.

As for the final, it will take place on Saturday 4 July at 15:00 (UTC + 2). A weekend schedule agreed to try to make it feasible for most fans to see live the final outcome of the championship.

From Carcassonne.cat we wish good luck to all the teams and especially that they enjoy these very special games.
